BarSculpt Mat I: BarSculpt with minimal investment. This course teaches you the foundation and formula to teach BarSculpt without a ballet barre! Using props generally on hand for personal training or Pilates classes, you will learn the exercises in each section and the timing of a BarSculpt class. We’ll provide you with all the tools needed to teach a full 55-minute BarSculpt class in virtually any space. To receive certification and listing on BarSculpt.com, each instructor must log 5 hours of observation, 10 hours of practice teaching, 15 hours of personal review as well as successfully teach a BarSculpt class within 90 days of completion of the course. The class may be submitted in video format for review. Length of training: 8 hours. Prerequisite: none. Certificate after exam completion and requirements 1 year or 1 year extension. Cost: $325 (early bird $275)
BarSculpt Stretch
When: June 8th
Where: Katonah, NY
Time: 9AM – 4PM
BarSculpt Stretch: Remove the strength portions from a BarSculpt class, and you are left with a wonderfully gentle stretch class. Using Yoga and dancer stretches, you will be walked through a series of poses that will invigorate and lengthen muscles. BarSculpt stretch is a fantastic complement to any gym or studio schedule and especially effective for clients who need to be restored. Length of course: 7 hours. Prerequisite: none. Certification valid for 1 year or extends current BarSculpt certification for 1 year.

What support do I receive as a teacher/studio?
Communication is our greatest strenght. Emails or phone calls with questions regarding the class and/or teaching will be answered within a week. Our website will connect you to other BarSculpt teachers AND help students wanting a class know where to look.

Is there a cost to my gym or studio?
No! You can add BarSculpt classes to your current group class schedule without additional cost past the certification course and continuing education for your teachers.
How do I host BarSculpt training for Certification at my studio?
BarSculpt would love to be a part of your studio and have trainings at your location. As long as your space is equipped to have a BarSculpt or BarSculpt Mat class, it is equipped to host. A minimum of 5 students is required in order to keep the price low, however smaller training sessions (or private training) can be arranged.
Upon completion of BarSculpt Instructor Training:
BarSculpt trainees are authorized to use the BarSculpt(R) class system and program trademark for 90 days. Use of the trademark and class sequences will be relinquished if a trainee does not attain Official Instructor status within 90 days of the completion of training. A trainee is required to submit a video of themselves teaching a class within 90 days following the completion of training in order to attain Instructor status and maintain active status. Completion of the video evaluation is suggested after teaching approximately 15 BarSculpt classes, observing 5, and participating in 10. A trainee must score 70 percent or better on their evaluation in order to attain Instructor status. The BarSculpt Instructor Evaluation process includes a written evaluation of the trainee’s class, and contains valuable information transferable to many exercise disciplines and modalities.
